يرى سيد معوض لاعب الأهلي السابق، أن أزمة المارد الأحمر في التعاقد مع مهاجم جديد لا زالت مستمرة منذ الموسم الماضي، مُشيرًا إلى أنه رغم ذلك الفريق حقق جميع البطولات.

وقال معوض في تصريحات عبر برنامج “بوكس تو بوكس”، المُذاع على قناة “etc”: “هناك لغز واضح في قصة المهاجم، ونسمع أسماء كثيرة مثل موليكا وسوزا، ولا يوجد شيء رسمي من النادي الأهلي، وأصبحنا نسمع عن اقتراب لاعبين كثيرين، والموضوع أصبح طويلًا للغاية”.

وتابع: “لا بد أن يحسم الأهلي تعاقده خلال أسبوع على الأكثر، وأن يتواجد في معسكر الفريق في النمسا، قائمة المارد الأحمر جيدة، لكن تواجد المهاجم الأجنبي سيزيد من خيارات المدرب”.

وأردف: “صلاح محسن لو استمر على نفس الأداء الذي قدمه مع سيراميكا كليوباترا في آخر شهرين، سيكون إضافة جيدة لخط هجوم النادي الأهلي”.

وعن الزمالك، قال معوض: “كل لاعبي الأبيض حصلوا على راحة كافية لمدة شهر، وكان يجب أن يبدأ الفريق فترة الإعداد قبل أسبوع”.

واستمر: “ولكن قد يكون مواجهة لقاء بطل جيبوتي في الكونفدرالية سهل الأمور وساهم في تأخير بدء الاستعدادات، ولو كان المنافس قويًا، بالتأكيد كان الزمالك سيستعد مبكرًا”.

واختتم: “أي شخص مسؤول يتولى المهمة في الزمالك يجب أن يكون لديه قدرة مالية، وحلول مختلفة لإنهاء الأزمات داخل النادي، يجب اختيار شخص مناسب متفق عليه من الجميع ومحبوب من الجمهور”.

Railways would have fancied their chances when they reduced Karnataka to 47 for 5, but a stand of 66 between Karun Nair and KL Rahul swung the game Karnataka’s way. Nair sealed the win with a patient, unbeaten 53.The Karnataka openers set off quickly, but after a flurry of early boundaries, Robin Uthappa drove Krishnakant Upadhyay to gully for 8. Karnataka sunk further when Mayank Agarwal dragged one from Anureet Singh back onto his stumps and two balls later Upadhyay got Vinay Kumar to edge to the wicketkeeper. Anureet was in business again in his following over when Manish Pandey nicked one to the wicketkeeper Mahesh Rawat, reducing Karnataka to 37 for 4. Upadhyay got yet another breakthrough in his incisive first spell with a fine delivery on the off stump that forced Ganesh Satish to edge to Rawat.Nair and Rahul then batted patiently and could afford to drop anchor since they were chasing a middling total. The pair batted together for nearly 20 overs before Rahul lobbed one back to the seamer Chanderpal Saini. It was Railways’ last breakthrough as Nair and Kunal Kapoor erased the deficit with seven overs to spare. Uthappa struck again in his following over when he got Rawat to edge to Rahul.Railways struggled to put on substantial partnerships and their best effort was 38 for the eighth wicket between Rongsen Jonathan and Amit Mishra. Mithun cleaned up the lower order and rounded off the innings when he had Jonathan caught at mid-off for 46.Karnataka stumbled and eventually reached the target thanks to their depth in batting. Karnataka will aim to add one more trophy to that cabinet, with the T20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy beginning on March 28.

Shane Watson, the new Rajasthan captain, believes the spot-fixing controversy last year was a case of a “couple of bad apples”, and has spoken of the betrayal the team felt when the scandal came to light. Three Rajasthan players were caught in the alleged spot-fixing scandal last year. Two of them – Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan – have been banned for life. Ajit Chandila continues to be under investigation.”When those three players came out involved in spot-fixing, I and everyone associated with the team certainly felt betrayed,” Watson told . “We were doing everything we possibly could to give ourselves the best chance of winning games, and to feel like a couple of people in our team were doing things to make winning those games more difficult was something that I had not experienced in my playing days.”There’s no doubt that this horrendous situation has brought us as a team closer than what we were before. With every bad experience, one learns from such challenging situations and gathers a lot of strength from them, and we certainly did.”Watson admitted there will be extra heat on his team, but said the malaise didn’t run deeper. “There’s obviously a bit more spotlight on us because of the spot-fixing situation last year,” Watson said, “but as a franchise, we feel that a couple of bad apples are gone now, so we are wholly and solely focusing on the people we’ve got around us. We are going to do everything to give ourselves the best chance to perform well on the big stage.”Watson said they had got over the distraction, and that they were not worrying too much about how to clear their image. Performance, he said, should take care of that. “It’s not on our mind whatsoever to try and get other people to forget what happened. It’s more about us coming together and providing the entertainment that we did even in the Champions League to show people what a quality team we are, and that’s all we care about. In the end, that’s what the owners and management care about too.”

أفادت تقارير صحفية أن المدافع المخضرم سيرجيو راموس، استقر على وجهته المقبلة، بعد أنباء سابقة أفادت بتوصله لاتفاق مع اتحاد جدة السعودي.

ويعد راموس الآن وكيل حر، منذ نهاية عقده مع باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي في يونيو الماضي. 

وبحسب الصحفي فابريزو رومانو، توصل راموس إلى اتفاق مع ناديه الأسبق إشبيلية، لينضم إلى صفوفه.

وأفاد أنه تم التوصل إلى الاتفاق الشفهي بشأن عقد قصير المدى، على الرغم من العروض الأخرى المطروحة على الطاولة من اتحاد جدة وكذلك الأندية التركية.

وأوضحت تقارير في وقت سابق أن راموس توصل لاتفاق مع اتحاد جدة السعودي للانضمام إلى صفوفه، لكن تظهر الآن أنباء أخرى تؤكد عودته إلى إشبيلية.

أتلتيكو مدريد يرغب في الاحتفاظ باللاعب الذي يعتبره دييجو سيميوني واحد من أهم أعمدة الفريق، وهو ما استندت عليه الإذاعة الإسبانية في تأكديها على أن الروخي بلانكوس في حالة لم يصل أي عروض بحلول يوم الجمعة، فلن يسمحوا للاعب بالرحيل في اليوم الأخير من سوق الانتقالات، وذلك لإغلاق الميركاتو، على عكس ما سيحدث في السعودية.

By the standards of most clubs, 2013 was a pretty good season. Somerset reached the semifinals of the YB40, the quarter-finals of the FLt20 and were sixth in the Championship. But, by their high standards, 2013 was a disappointment. Instead of challenging for that elusive Championship title, they ended the season staving off relegation and finished with the same amount of victories (three) as Derbyshire. After failing to win any of their first eight Championship games, they were relieved to win two of their last four, with late-season signing, Piyush Chawla contributing heavily. To worsen matters, the club was unable to retain the services of Jos Buttler after he accepted the offer of more regular wicket-keeping opportunities at Lancashire.The combination of disappointing results and the Buttler departure led to questions about the future of the new director of cricket Dave Nosworthy, who was recruited from South Africa ahead of the season. Though the club hierarchy sensibly reasoned that he needed more than a year to instil his values at the club, he will enter 2014 under some pressure.Marcus Trescothick, for so long the rock upon which Somerset’s efforts were built, struggled for form in 2013 and failed to register a century in the season for the first time since 1998. It was a decline mirrored across a good part of the squad, with Steve Kirby also a fading force with the ball and the club’s coterie of younger players slightly too green to take up the slack. Gemaal Hussain, who never replicated the excellence of his form with Gloucestershire, was released at the end of the season. There were success stories: Nick Compton reached 1,000 runs in the season and averaged 50+ despite playing only 12 Championship matches and Craig Kieswetter cast off his disappointing Championship form with an excellent T20 campaign.2014 prospects
A glance at the bowling attack sums up the situation in which Somerset find themselves. With Kirby (who is now 36 and may well miss the start of the season following shoulder surgery) and Alfonso Thomas (aged 37) a year or two past their best and the younger crop – the Overtons, Dockrell, Meschede, Gregory et al – still developing, the club finds itself in a transitional era. It is similar with the batting, with Somerset having been heavily reliant on either Trescothick and Compton in recent times and more now required from the likes of James Hildreth and Craig Kieswetter in the Championship. Perhaps that explains the recruitment of Johann Myburgh, a 33-year-old batting all-rounder of South African background but who does not count as an overseas player, to strengthen the middle-order. Much will be required of the young all-rounders Meschede and Gregory if the struggles of last year are not to be repeated. A title challenge might therefore prove beyond them, with the limited-overs competitions offering a better chance of success. Alviro Petersen returns as overseas player, with the club still exploring the market for T20 options.Key player
By backing Craig Kieswetter as keeper ahead of Buttler, Somerset made a clear choice about which of the two they would rather stay with the club. It is not just Kieswetter’s playing ability that the club rate, it is his character. Somerset remains pleasantly, but perhaps not helpfully, gentle and it may prove that Kieswetter is promoted to a leadership role sooner rather than later. Bearing in mind the club’s commitment to him, many were surprised by his decision to enter the IPL auction and it remains a danger that he will win a recall to the England set-up, leaving Somerset without both him and Buttler. But for now, he remains a highly valuable player for the club and a central part of the long-term plans.Bright young thing
Somerset have an excellent record of producing players in recent years and there are many young men on their current staff who could have been chosen for this category. But in the Overton twins, they have two gems. Jamie Overton has gained more attention so far and is blessed with the height and unusual pace that suggests he could go on to enjoy a career at the top level. But Craig, who missed most of last season with a back injury, is also a fine prospect. While not quite as quick as his brother, he has an action that faintly resembles Stuart Broad’s and also bats. There are concerns both could be over-bowled or called into the England system too soon, but both have the raw potential to become valuable players for Somerset for a decade or more.Captain/coach
Dave Nosworthy remains as director of cricket, with Andy Hurry now in charge of the academy and player development. Dave Houghton has joined as batting coach and Jason Kerr has been promoted to the bowling coach role. Trescothick remains as captain, with James Hildreth vice-captain. It may well be that he or Kieswetter will take the captaincy role in at least one of the formats sooner rather than later.ESPNcricinfo verdict
A Championship challenge looks unlikely, with Somerset in transition and Nosworthy’s plans for the future taking shape. The club do possess an unusual number of talented young bowlers, though, so the long-term future remains bright.
