علّق مويسيس كايسيدو، لاعب فريق برايتون، على ارتباطه بخطوة الرحيل عن النادي وإمكانية الانتقال إلى فريق آخر في الدوري الإنجليزي.

ويُعد كايسيدو هدفًا لكل من تشيلسي ومانشستر يونايتد، حيث يتطلع الناديان إلى الظفر بخدماته هذا الصيف.

وعندما سُئل عن الأمر، قال كايسيدو في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “مترو” الإنجليزية: “إنه شعور رائع للغاية، من الرجل الذي لا يريدهم أن يتحدثوا عنه؟”.

يُذكر أن كايسيدو وقع عقدًا جديدًا مع برايتون، في مارس الماضي، ساري حتى 2027.

Afghanistan will play Pakistan in a Twenty20 match in Sharjah, on December 8, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced. The match is a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Afghanistan and Pakistan boards, through which the PCB will aid the ACB in the lead-up to the 2015 World Cup.”We are excited by the opportunity to play against a Full Member nation,” Noor Mohammad Murad, the ACB’s chief executive, said. “Win or lose, the experience gained by our players will be absolutely invaluable.”One of the issues for Afghanistan cricket in recent years has been that we are among the top teams of the Associate and Affiliate members and we tend to win a high percentage of our matches against them. Our national team needs the challenge of playing against some of the elite cricket teams like Pakistan and Australia, in order to raise their performance level. So far only Pakistan and Australia have given us this opportunity, but we are hoping that more Full Member nations will follow their example.”Afghanistan have played four Twenty20s against Full Members, including South Africa, India and England, but those matches came in the 2010 and 2012 World Twenty20s. Outside of ICC tournaments, they’ve played one ODI each against Pakistan and Australia last year.Understandably, they did not win any of those six games, but Murad remains confident of a strong showing in December. “We believe we can give the Pakistan team a good run for its money. T20 is one of our strengths and last year we gave India a scare in the World T20. We hope to give the Pakistan team a strong challenge and, who knows, maybe even more than that.”

Apostando em investidas pelas pontas, o Corinthians rondou a área do Oeste, mas esbarrou na falta de pontaria. Boselli tentou de letra e até arriscou uma bicicleta, mas nas duas vezes parou em Matheus Cavichiolli. Já Pedrinho, livre de marcação, chutou sem direção. A equipe lutou diante de um Rubrão pouco ofensivo, que só ameaçou em batida de Élvis no finzinho.

Um gringo aguerrido
O empenho de Boselli se destacou na etapa inicial do Timão. Intenso a cada jogada, o camisa 17 roubou bola de um defensor e finalizou, obrigando Matheus Cavichiolli a se desdobrar para salvar. Na reta final, o gringo recebeu cruzamento de Vagner Love, mas furou ao finalizar. A ânsia por jogar quase custou caro: em dividida com Betinho, atingiu a perna do atleta do Rubrão, mas só levou amarelo.

‘Chorado’, Timão abre o placar
Ao ver que a equipe voltou do intervalo sem o mesmo fôlego, Fábio Carille fez uma mudança ofensiva: Jadson entrou no lugar de Ralf. E, com direito a um suspense, o grito de gol explodiu na Arena Corinthians. Após cruzamento de Jadson, Danilo Avelar escorou da esquerda e a bola sobrou para Pedrinho. O camisa 38 alçou e, desta vez, Danilo Avelar desviou para a rede.

E tome chances!
A vantagem empolgou os corintianos. Pedrinho, Vagner Love e Boselli exigiram Matheus Cavichiolli. Henrique escorou cobrança de escanteio e, após leve desvio de Boselli, o camisa 1 do Oeste salvou. Jadson ainda carimbou a trave. Contudo, o Rubrão foi se soltando e obrigou Cássio a se desdobrar para evitar conclusões de Betinho e Fábio.

Vaga garantida
Tranquilo, o Corinthians recorreu à cautela e se deu ao luxo de usar os minutos finais para administrar a partida. Por mais que o Oeste tentasse investidas com Mazinho e Pedrinho, a equipe de Renan Freitas não furava o bloqueio corintiano. Boselli ainda teve outra chance e isolou. Não importava. A classificação já estava garantida.

Surrey’s chance of staying Division One may have been slim anyway but they could do without the abrupt arrival of autumn keeping them confined to the dressing room for all but the first hour and a quarter of the first day of their match against Warwickshire.Umpires Richard Kettleborough and David Millns gave proceedings e as long as possible to be considered worthy of resuscitation but with the city centre tower blocks shrouded in mist and the puddles on the outfield fighting a losing battle against persistent heavy drizzle they called it off a short while after the scheduled tea interval.At least Surrey had the beginnings of a partnership to provide modest encouragement after Warwickshire had won the toss and put them in. They will resume with Hashim Amla and Vikram Solanki together, the third wicket pair having added 41 for the third wicket.Keith Barker, the left-armer with one England Lions appearance whose lack of more substantial international recognition remains a mystery, bowled beautifully to take two early wickets, removing 18-year-old Dominic Sibley and opening partner Rory Burns, both leg-before to full, swinging deliveries.Under a heavily overcast sky and with the floodlights on from the outset, conditions were far from easy and Barker continued to test the batsmen, controlling the swing skillfully. Even with Boyd Rankin rested, after his return from England duty, and with Chris Wright still injured, the availability of Chris Woakes and loan signing Maurice Chambers gave Surrey a fearsome attack to contend with on such a grim morning.Yet Amla, who bagged a pair during Surrey’s woeful and critical defeat against Somerset last week, brought his experience to bear this time, as did Solanki. Both batsmen left the ball judiciously and were beginning to look relatively settled when the weather closed in. With the floodlights casting obvious shadows, and therefore clearly taking over from natural light, it seemed only a matter of time before the umpires would have to call a halt. Yet both batsmen unleashed handsome boundaries, Amla driving Barker to long-off, Solanki despatching Chambers through extra cover, so they were clearly seeing the ball well enough. Rain, though, was only just behind.Some 29 points adrift of safety going into the penultimate round, Surrey are pretty much doomed. Warwickshire, defending their title unsuccessfully, look nothing of the sort, with a 27-point cushion between themselves and next-to-bottom Derbyshire, who have only one match remaining, although they could in theory still be caught by Surrey.That possibility will be removed in short order if they take maximum bowling bonus points and dismiss Surrey for fewer than 350 runs.Warwickshire again had Jamie Atkinson, the former Durham UCCE wicketkeeper, behind the stumps, with both Tim Ambrose and his stand-in, Peter Mckay, both injured. The 23-year-old Atkinson, now based in Hong Kong but who has been playing for Dorridge in the Birmingham League, is on a two-match contract.He is the 24th player Warwickshire have used in their Championship programme, which is four more than were needed last season, and the eighth to have appeared in only one or two fixtures, which is an illustration of the inability to pick a settled side that has dogged director of cricket, Dougie Brown, in his first season in charge.Brown believes no county has had to contend with as many injuries as Warwickshire and feels those able to make it on to the field deserve recognition for keeping the side clear of the bottom three. “We have not put our best team in the field once and in the circumstances we have done really well to be as competitive as we have been,” he said.

West Indies High Performance Centre (HPC) head coach Graeme West said the centre will concentrate on the four-day format of the game for the second semester, with the regional tournaments approaching at the turn of 2014.West was delighted with the first term that passed and was keenly anticipating the start of the next, which runs from September to December. “This term is about honing our skills in the longer format of the game. We’d like to travel around the Caribbean and play some four-day cricket,” he said. “The intake this year has been playing in the Barbados domestic three-day league and they’ve benefited greatly but it’s time to take the next step. We’ll then look at adjusting to perfect our basics in the ODIs to give our players the platforms to play in the Regional Super50 in the new year.”West identified the pitches in Barbados as the toughest in the region and believed the conditions they faced would help them learn how to adapt on difficult pitches, especially in the international arena.”The Barbados league gives a benchmark to see how our games develop,” he said. “The players who weren’t from Barbados found it tricky sometimes. Batters had to settle as the pitches weren’t what they expected. They had to blend new methods and tactics in the crease with slightly foreign conditions. They took some time to get off.”West lauded his bowlers and singled out left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein as most impressive so far in the HPC. “Bowlers got off faster because these pitches were conducive to taking wickets and it showed with Akeal, who took over 30 wickets in four games, with his left-arm orthodox,” he said. “These are the best kinds of pitches for young bowlers to refine their trades.”Among the current crop, right-arm seamer Ronsford Beaton and right-hand batsman Kraigg Brathwaite are on West Indies A duty this month, and Adrian Barath due for the Champions League. الحارس الكاميروني رحل بعد المباراة الثانية أمام صربيا وغادر معسكر المنتخب، قبل أن يعلن اللاعب نفسه اعتزاله اللعب دوليًا، بسبب استبعاده لعدم الانضباط حسب ما أكد الاتحاد في بيانه.

هنري نجالا كوان، كشف في تصريحات نارية ضد صامويل إيتو، العديد من الأمور الخفية في الاتحاد الكاميروني، خلال حواره مع شبكة “كادينا كوبيه” الإسبانية.

وقال: “سألت صامويل إيتو عن مستقبل أونانا مع المنتخب الوطني، وأجابني أنها قد انتهت، ولن ينضم إلى الأسود مجددًا، خاصة وأن ناديه يريد التخلص منه، فكيف يمكن لشخص أن يكون تافهًا إلى هذا الحد. لقد أراد النادي رحيله بأي ثمن”.

وأضاف: “صامويل إيتو تحدث بشكل سيء جدًا عن أونانا، وتعامله مع اللاعبين بشكل عام ليس جيدًا، وبه الكثير من الغرور، بالإضافة إلى أن المدربين يشعرون بالاختناق بسبب تدخلاته المستمرة. يحضر جميع الاجتماعات وفي جميع الدورات التدريبية، ويتدخل في أمور لا تخصه”.

وكان ماجواير قد جُرد من شارة القيادة، قبل أيام، بناءً على أوامر من تين هاج، حيث قرر الأخير منح الشارة للبرتغالي برونو فرنانديز.

وأضاف: “هو قدوة ونموذج لكثير من اللاعبين، هو شخص اجتماعي جيد، ويتمتع أيضًا بفهم جيد جدًا للعبة، من الجيد جدًا دمج كل ذلك في الملاعب”.

وواصل: “هذه بعض الأسباب الخاصة بمنحه شارة القيادة، ولكنه لا يستطيع القيام بذلك بمفرده، نحن بحاجة إلى المزيد من القادة ليكون لديهم الرابطة القوية التي يمكن أن تقود الفريق في الاتجاه الصحيح”.
