أعلنت شركة تذكرتي عن تعيين مؤمن زكريا لاعب الأهلي ومنتخب مصر السابق في منصب مستشار الشئون الرياضية لها.

وتتولى شركة تذكرة كافة الأمور المتعلقة بشراء تذاكر المباريات وحضورها وتأمين الدخول والخروج.

ومن جانبه وجه مؤمن زكريا الشكر لمجلس إدارة شركة تذكرتي وترحيبه بالمنصب الجديد كمستشار رياضي للشركة.

وأثنى لاعب الاهلي على دور تذكرتي الرائد والبارز في المجال الرياضي في السنوات الأخيرة.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن مؤمن زكريا ابتعد عن الملاعب منذ ما يزيد عن عامين بسبب إصابته بمرض نادر في الجهاز العصبي.

Steve Howey believes Newcastle United could make a move for Manchester United outcast Phil Jones by offering the defender a pay-as-you-play deal.

Having made 224 appearances for the club, with 200 of those coming in the Premier League, Jones has not featured for the Red Devils since the 2019/20 season due to a string of injuries.

Although the transfer deadline is just a matter of hours away, reports suggest Manchester United are willing to allow Jones to leave Old Trafford on a free transfer in a bid to resurrect his career. It comes with Newcastle United, Everton, West Ham United, Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Burnley all keeping tabs on the situation.

Jones still has two years remaining on his £75,000-per-week contract with the Red Devils and there is an option to extend the deal by another 12 months.

Newcastle have been frustrated in the transfer market and only been able to sign Joe Willock, in a switch worth in excess of £20million, from Arsenal.

Former Magpies defender Howey believes boss Steve Bruce should consider offering Jones a way out of Old Trafford.

He exclusively told The Transfer Tavern: “He’s got vast experience. It’s just a question of whether he can do it in the Premier League anymore.

“Does he feel as though he could go somewhere else and restart his career? Possibly, but it just depends on injuries.

“Because of his injuries, he has got to be sensible and not demand a two-year contract but have belief in his ability and faith in his body, so be willing to take a pay-as-you-play deal.”

وتابع: “نحن نتحدث عن التخطيط الخاص بنا والمشروع القومي للمواهب والناشئين والنتائج الخاصة به، بداية الإعداد لـ 2024، بأول تجمع في دورة وهي دورة ألعاب البحر الأبيض المتوسط، لذلك صممت أن يسافر أولادنا للجزائر، رغم أن كان هناك أصوات تتطالب بالاعتذار”.

وأردف: “هدفنا الأساسي من المشاركة في دورة ألعاب البحر المتوسط، أن نرى مستوى أولادنا المخطط لهم التواجد في 2024”.

وتطرق للحديث عن أزمة علي زين نحم منتخب اليد ومحمد صلاح نجم ليفربول ومنتخب مصر، قائلا: “نحن نذهب للمطار من أجل استقبال كل لاعب ولاعبة أدوا لبلدهم على ألعاب سوء فردية أو لا، وهذا نظام مُتبع لدينا، ومحمد صلاح يأتي بطائرة خاصة ولم يعرف الكثيرون، وكانت لدينا النية لتكريمه بشكل جيد، لأنه سفير رياضي حقق لمصر الكثير، وواجب علينا نفسيًا أن نعطي له ذلك”.

وأردف: “أما بالنسبة لعلي زين فجميعًا كنا نتواجد في الجزائر، وكنت أُشد من أزر اللاعبين والجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر لليد، وكان المفترض أن يأتي علي زين في الجزائر أو مصر، وعدم التنسيق سواء الاتحاد أو الوزارة في التوقيت المناسب، جاء عليه ومن حقه أن يحزن، وعلمت بالأمر وأنا في طريق للعودة لمصر من خلال السوشيال ميديا، وكان لا بد أن اتواصل معه وبالفعل حدث ذلك هاتفيًا، وكان لا بد أن يتم عمل تكريم له يليق بحقه مثل محمد صلاح”.

وواصل: “علي زين مثل محمد صلاح في لعبة مختلفة، فلا بد أن نفعل ذلك وننقله للشباب، وهو كان سعيد بهذا التكريم، ويجب عدم المبالغة من البعض، نحن نقابل لاعبين أصغر من ذلك ونكرمهم”.

However, this represented an impressive comeback by Namibia who at one point were 119 for 6, and their captain, Louis Berger, guided them to stumps in a much healthier position.Under cloudless skies, Namibia decided to bat but were soon in trouble at 37 for 2 before Craig Williams and Sarel Burger then steadied them to lunch with the game nicely poised on 73 for 2. Peter Connell provided Ireland with the breakthrough, removing them both after lunch. And when Andre Botha dismissed Gerrie Snyman – Namibia’s dangerman – Ireland soon had Namibia faltering at 119 for 6.As they have shown throughout this year, the sticky situation in which Namibia found themselves did not spell disaster. Quite the contrary. Their captain, Louis Berger, refused to be dominated and cracked 10 momentum-siezing fours and a crisp straight six off Kyle McCallan. Bjorn Kotze (43) gave him excellent support in a crucial 91-run partnership before he was joined by Kola Burger who cracked 22 from just 11 balls.The momentum hadn’t totally shifted, but by stumps Ireland were lacking venom against a spirited response from Namibia.”I think 240 looks a lot better now than it did earlier today. I feel a lot of the guys didn’t value their wickets enough,” Louis Berger, the Namibia captain, said. “At least three of the wickets that went down were due to loose shots. Arsenal will not be signing Houssem Aouar before tonight’s 11pm deadline…

What’s the word?

That’s according to renowned Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who delivered a fresh claim on the Gunners’ imminent plans to Twitter.

“Arsenal are not interested in signing Houssem Aouar in these final hours. There are currently no talks with OL for Aouar,” he said.

“Arsenal are only focused on Tomiyasu deal to be announced [medical today] & outgoings, as Bellerin to Real Betis still to be resolved.”

The 23-year-old Lyon midfielder nearly signed for the Gunners on deadline day last summer but both teams failed to come to an agreement over his fee.

Interest in his services were reignited back in early July after ESPN reported that the north London giants were mulling over a potential offer. They also claimed that Aouar’s value had decreased from €65m (£55m) to just €25m (£21.5m).

Fans will be gutted

And despite the return of the playmaking Martin Odegaard this month, it certainly seems that many supporters around the Emirates Stadium are truly gutted by Romano’s latest update.

In response to his tweet, plenty of fans vented their anger. “That’s ruined my day,” said one. “Not getting in another midfielder is criminal,” claimed another, whilst a further member of the Gunners faithful described it as “absolutely baffling” – as relayed by HITC.

Indeed, Mikel Arteta could probably do with another midfielder in his engine room, particularly someone of Aouar’s profile as he’s the sort of box-to-box no.8 that would fit the Spaniard’s system.

The Frenchman is a threat in midfield, having provided 18 goals and 14 assists across the previous two seasons, on top of an average of two key passes and a 86.8% passing accuracy in 2020/21 alone, via WhoScored.

His ability to play the role is bolstered by a lofty comparison to Andres Iniesta, which goes to show exactly the sort of player the Gunners would be getting.

None of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka or Odegaard are in this mould, and the former is currently out injured, leading to a baffling and unbalanced selection at the weekend. Arteta paired the other two with Emile Smith Rowe against defending champions Manchester City, and were thumped 5-0.

“I’m a big fan of Aouar. I’ve often likened him to Andres Iniesta, which is obviously a big shout because, for me, he is one of the greatest players of all-time,” claimed Ligue 1 expert Adam White to Football FanCast.

“I don’t necessarily mean in quality but in style. He has silky movement and drifts in midfield to pick passes. At his best, he is absolutely brilliant to watch and he can play anywhere in midfield. He’s great on the ball and technically outstanding. His vision is brilliant. He’s a huge talent.”

It’s no wonder there are many fuming that Arsenal will not make a move for Aouar before tonight’s deadline.

Outstanding financial issues between the Pakistan board and outgoing coach Geoff Lawson have been resolved after a meeting on Monday.Lawson had sent back a cheque the board had given him over the weekend, claiming the payment was far short of what was owed to him as per the terms of his contract, a claim which was correct.Lawson told Cricinfo the meeting with Salim Altaf, the PCB’s director-general, was “a cordial one” and that the issue was resolved “amicably”.”We had a good meeting,” Altaf told Cricinfo. “There had been a communication gap in the past but we have ended on good terms.”The amount outstanding to Lawson is thought to be in the region of US$30,000, a bonus payment for taking the side to the final of an ICC tournament (Pakistan reached the final of the World Twenty20 last year).Lawson spoke to reporters briefly after the meeting, his first such interaction with the media since he was sacked. “It has been a very enjoyable experience for me and I have learnt a lot being an international coach. If the board wants to have a local coach, good luck to them. I have no grievances with them. It was an honor for me to coach the Pakistan team.”While Lawson is planning on flying back to Australia, most likely on Saturday, the fitness trainer he brought with him to Pakistan is likely to stay on. David Dwyer, the Australian trainer, also met Altaf and was he asked by the board to stay. A Lahore court has asked the PCB to submit records of Shoaib Akhtar’s indiscipline, following an interview given by the fast bowler to an Indian news channel recently, where he had had criticized the board

Cricinfo staff18-Nov-2008A court is seeking records of Shoaib Akhtar’s latest disciplinary transgression to decide on his appeal of a ban and fine for earlier disciplinary violations.Shoaib is currently challenging an 18-month ban from cricket and a fine of Rs 7 million (US$95,000) in the Lahore High Court, but the PCB’s legal adviser Taffazul Rizvi said Shoaib had repeatedly violated the players’ code of conduct.The court wanted the transcription of a recent interview Shoaib gave to an Indian news channel. Rizvi said the board would submit the text in court within this week. “We have the DVD of the interview that Akhtar gave on an Indian television channel recently in which he criticized the PCB,” he told . “Akhtar had assured the court about his good behavior but he violated the code of conduct in his recent television interview.”Shoaib’s lawyer Abid Minto, however, challenged the cricket board stance that he has repeatedly violated the code of conduct. “There was no inquiry on Akhtar, so we want the Board to produce evidence,” Minto told reporters.The apparent breach of the code of conduct comes after Shoaib, 33, was selected in the Pakistan squad for the T20 Canada in Toronto last month as well as the recently-concluded three-match ODI series against the West Indies in Abu Dhabi, after the PCB had softened its stance over his bad behaviour. He was also allowed to turn out for Federal Areas in Pakistan’s domestic Pentangular Cup.He was initially banned by the PCB for five years, but the sentence had been reduced to 18 months, along with the fine, by an appellate tribunal in June.
