أكد توماس توخيل المدير الفني لفريق تشيلسي الإنجليزي على جاهزية اللاعبين لمواجهة ليل الفرنسي غدًا الأربعاء، في إياب دور الـ16 من بطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

تشيلسي فاز في مباراة الذهاب على ملعب ستامفورد بريدج 2/0 قبل أن يذهب إلى فرنسا لخوض الإياب أمام ليل بملعب بيار موروا.

ويدخل تشيلسي المباراة في ظروف صعبة بعد أن أصدرت الحكومة البريطانية قرارًا بالحجز على أرصدة أبراموفيتش (مالك النادي) ومنع البلوز من ممارسة أي نشاطات إدارية ولم تسمح فقط إلا باستمرار الفرق الرياضية بالتدريبات وخوض المباريات، برخصة استثنائية.

وقال توخيل في المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بالمباراة: ” من الأفضل أن نصل فرنسا على متن طائرة بدلًا من الحافلة، لذلك سنحاول أن نكون محترفين قدر الإمكان”.

وأضاف: “حسبما علمت، لدينا كل شيء متاح فيما يتعلق بالتنظيم لخوض مباراة ليل، ولا توجد لدينا أعذار كما ذكرت من قبل”.

وأشار: “الأمر ليس به أي رفاهية، لكن كل شيء جاهز لخوض مباراة ليل ونحن في أفضل حال”.

وأكد: “ألونسو وأزبيلكويتا جاهزان للعب غدًا، ريس جيمس وهودسون أودوي لن يتمكنا من اللحاق بالمباراة، وسنحاول مشاركتهما في التدريبات رغم صعوبة ذلك”.

وأشاد توخيل بـ إدوارد ميندي حارس مرمى الفريق: “إنه رجل رائع، يتمتع بشخصية قوية، أعتقد أن الجميع في تشيلسي، بما في ذلك المشجعين، يتمنون له مواصلة النجاح، لأنه يلعب دورًا رئيسيًا معنا، ومنذ أن توليت المسؤولية وهو يقدم أداءً استثنائيًا”.

Manchester United’s hopes of Europa League glory were ended in dramatic fashion as Villarreal triumphed 11-10 in a thrilling penalty shootout.

After Gerard Moreno put the La Liga outfit ahead, connecting with a well-taken Dani Parejo free-kick, United struggled to break down their organised and compact opponents.

The Yellow Submarines had been well-drilled by former Arsenal boss Unai Emery, but a deflected shot fell kindly into Edinson Cavani’s path early in the second half for the Uruguay international to slot into an unguarded net.

However, the Red Devils failed to build any momentum on the back of their fortuitous equaliser, and in a game lacking in quality where only three shots on target were recorded, the game meandered through extra time without any incident of note.

We’re sure the young winger will come back stronger next season for his shocking experience in this European final, but it was certainly a night to forget for Rashford and on a night where he was needed to stand up and be counted, Rashford was a shadow of himself and he let his manager down with his poor showing.

Último a ser resgatado com vida na tragédia da Chapecoense, o zagueiro Neto teve uma evolução satisfatória segundo o médico responsável, Marcos Sonagli. No último sábado, o jogador deu seus primeiros passos dentro do hospital em Chapecó com auxílio de um colete cervical.

Neto está se recuperando de uma lesão na quinta vértebra da coluna cervical e, segundo Sonagli, que detalhou a situação médica, tudo ocorreu dentro da normalidade:

-Hoje (domingo) nós temos boas notícias. Ontem (sábado) à noite, o Neto deu os primeiros passos. Isso é muito importante porque o Neto tem uma fratura na quinta vértebra lombar, que inicialmente é com tratamento conservador, sem precisar de cirurgia. Ele tem usado um colete para dar suporte, proteção para a coluna lombar. Ele conseguiu caminhar com um pouco de auxílio e não teve dor na região lombar. Ele tem falado que quer voltar a jogar. Isso ele deixa bem claro.

O médico também comentou que o zagueiro quer rever a família e que, entre 90 e 120 dias, Neto voltará aos treinamentos com a camisa da Chape:

-Mas a primeira intenção dele é ir para casa. Ele quer ter contato com a família, os filhos já vieram e tudo mais. Ele quer jogar e como a fratura dele é de tratamento não cirúrgico, ele vai ter que usar o colete por, pelo menos, 90 dias. Eu acredito que ele já possa estar treinando, dependendo das lesões associadas aos membros inferiores, entre 90 e 120 dias. De três a quatro meses. Mas o Neto é mais um guerreiro. Ele sempre surpreende a gente e é difícil dar uma data porque normalmente eles sempre conseguem mais do que a gente imagina. Eu estou torcendo para isso acontecer também. – explicou Marcos Sinogli.

Após Alan Ruschel, o próximo a deixar o hospital deverá ser o jornalista Rafael Henzel. Nesta segunda, Henzel passará por uma avaliação para conferir o quadro infeccioso, e, caso não seja detectada nenhuma regressão, ele deverá ter alta – mesmo com lesões – como explica a médica Juliana Foresti:

– Ele ainda tem algumas lesões nos dois membros inferiores que precisam ser fixadas, mas o que não vai ser feito agora.

O goleiro Jacson Follmann passará por outra cirurgia, desta vez no tornozelo esquerdo. Follmann teve parte da perna direita amputada ainda na Colômbia. O médico Rovani Camargo explicou o procedimento no qual Follmann será inserido:

-A lesão que o Follmann teve foi uma fratura-luxação do tornozelo, uma lesão no talus. O talus é osso do tornozelo que faz a principal articulação com a tíbia. Ele vai ter que ser submetido a um reparo dessa lesão. Provavelmente será feita uma artrodese, fixação do tornozelo em uma posição funcional para ele manter um padrão de caminhada. Manter o pé em uma posição funcional para ele ter um futuro aí funcional.

The lowdown

Kabak ‘piqued their interest’ in January before Liverpool swept in to complete a loan move.

The Reds’ agreement with Schalke contained an option to buy for £18million, but they’ve chosen not to exercise it (via This is Anfield).

Instead, Jurgen Klopp’s side have added RB Leipzig’s Ibrahima Konate to their ranks.

Kabak made 13 appearances during the loan spell, nine in the Premier League and four in the Champions League. He helped his side keep six clean sheets in those matches.

Schalke, who have been relegated to the German second tier, are apparently offering clubs the same deal Liverpool struck – a loan with a purchase at the end of the campaign.

That means Newcastle could avoid the sizeable £18million outlay for a year if they ultimately took up the option.

However, Kabak’s camp expect wages of £80,000 per week, which ‘could put off’ the Magpies.

That would make the Turkey international their second highest-earner behind Joelinton.

The verdict

Kabak has been described as a ‘very promising’ player by The Daily Mail, one who could go on to be part of Europe’s elite centre-back bracket.

And Toon fans may remember the youngster very well from their most recent trip to Anfield, given he spent most of his final Reds appearance fouling fan favourite Allan Saint-Maximin, picking up a booking in a challenge that briefly injured the winger back in April.

Liverpool’s decision was harsh on the 21-year-old, who performed admirably well given the circumstances surrounding his arrival, managing those six clean sheets.

This would be a magnificent deal for Newcastle to at least secure the loan deal if not the purchase at the end of it, but you sense those salary demands may be an obstacle that’s too difficult to overcome.

Já Fellipe Bastos não tem chances de integrar o grupo nesta quarta-feira, mas também tem conversas em estágio avançado e pode ser contratado. O volante de 26 anos pertence ao Al Ain, dos Emirados Árabes, e está atualmente emprestado ao Baniyas, do mesmo país. Ele tenta a rescisão contratual com os dois clubes e recebeu indicações positivas entre segunda e terça-feira, graças à ação do empresário Carlos Leite, que é favorável à ida ao Corinthians. Caso obtenha liberação sem dificuldades, a tendência é o Corinthians fechar a contratação do jogador, que tem passagens recentes por Ponte Preta, Vasco e Grêmio, sem custos.

Além de Gabriel e Fellipe Bastos, o Corinthians também oficializará nas próximas horas a contratação do volante Paulo Roberto, que defendeu o Sport no Brasileirão do ano passado. Everton have emerged in recent hours as contenders to sign Miralem Pjanic in the summer transfer window.

The Lowdown: Davies may be leaving

As per Football Insider, Southampton have reignited their interest in signing Tom Davies after failing to lure him away from Goodison Park in last summer’s window.

A source from the Saints has told the news outlet that they will make a move to sign the 22-year-old midfielder if they are given any sort of encouragement by the Merseyside club.

If Davies were to leave, then Toffees would need to find a replacement, and that could well be Pjanic.

The Latest: Everton eye Pjanic

As per Fichajes, Everton have emerged in recent hours as showing their interest in signing Pjanic, but Barcelona will not listen to any offers below €35m (£30.1m) if they wish to sell him.

It is up to the Toffees now whether they are willing to match the asking price requested by the La Liga club, as the story should develop over the course of the window.

The Verdict: Everton must avoid Pjanic

Even though a deal for Pjanic could sound quite tempting, given that he has been a big name in European football over the last few years, making 80 appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Roma, Everton must avoid that temptation.

ألمانيا نجحت في بلوغ نهائيات كأس العالم بقيادة فليك، الذي قاد المانشافت في 7 مباريات وفاز بها وسجل هجوم الماكينات 31 هدفًا واستقبلت شباكه هدفين فقط.

وقال جوندوجان في مقابلة مع مجلة “كيكر” الألمانية: “أنا لا أقيس النجاح كثيرًا بالألقاب، ومع ذلك فأنا أعلم أنه في هذا العصر، فإن أكثر ما يهم هو النتائج، لذا أعتقد أن سيكون من المهم أن نفوز بلقب كما حدد مانويل نوير”.

وعن المركز المُفضل له في الملعب: “بناءً على تجربتي، أشعر براحة نسبية في وسط الملعب في جميع المراكز، لكنني لاحظت أنني بحاجة إلى إيقاع معين في جميع المواقف المختلفة، لأن كل موقف يطالبني بمطالب مختلفة”.

وتابع: “الانتقال من مركز إلى مركز ليس مفيدًا دائمًا، لكنني كنت دائمًا في أفضل حالاتي عندما أعلم أنني ألعب نفس المركز أسبوعًا بعد أسبوع وعندما أعرف المتطلبات، من الصعب الاستمرار في تكييف دور جديد والاضطرار إلى إعادة توجيه نفسك في المواقف المختلفة”.

وأردف: “قد أضطر في الواقع إلى تحديد أفضل مركز بالنسبة لي، لكنني لست من النوع الذي يطالب بمطالب عدوانية، أنا أحاول دائمًا أن أكون مناسبًا، إذا احتاجني مدربي في منصب ما فلا أقول لا يمكنني القيام بذلك، ولكنني أتمنى أحيانًا أن أعرف ما هو دوري تمامًا حتى أتمكن من تقديم أفضل شيء”.

وأتم تصريحاته ردًا على “عمرك 32 عامًا في المونديال، هل بطولة أوروبا في ألمانيا 2024 هدفًا لك؟”، أجاب: “إذا سمح العقل والجسد بذلك، قد أفعل ذلك، أعتقد أنني سأقرر بعد كأس العالم”.
